What We’re Looking For:
At COMUNAL, we are looking for a Legal Associate with solid law firm experience and strong analytical, contractual, and commercial judgment. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to work on complex transactions within a high-growth real estate company.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to real estate, corporate, or commercial law, and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key responsabilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents, including commercial agreements, lease contracts, construction and vendor agreements and service contracts.
  • Support real estate transactions and project structuring from a legal standpoint.
  • Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions and developments.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance related to real estate operations and development.
  • Collaborate with external counsel on litigation, corporate governance, and transactional matters.

Ideal candidate:
  • Law degree and licensed to practice in Mexico.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm, real estate or in-house counsel legal department. 
  • Solid experience in contract law, commercial transactions, or real estate law (experience in the real estate industry is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both English (Intermediate) and Spanish.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk with operational needs.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive mindset, with a high sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
